ELITE ICONS wrestling Federation 'Network'
...taking you back....to the attitude era...
Davie J was the first wrestler to be signed by Prez Rod back in September 1999. He was the first person to join the EIWF and played a major part in its success in his time there. Davie and his close friend Eddie D formed a tag team better known as the Good Guys and made there mark in the tag team division but didnt win the titles. It was at the first ever Doomsday that Davie J captured gold in the form of the United States title.
He won the title on October 5th 1999 and held the title until December 14th 1999 when he vacated the title. Davie was fired by Prez Rod after only being in the EIWF for a month but wrestlers and fans called for Davie to be reinstated. Prez Rod was then fired and the new Prez immiediatley secured the services of the ICON. Davie formed the CREW and won the World title from Badd Dogg on December 12th 1999.
Then at the Stay True PPV the whole wrestling world was stunned when X-Factor and Eddie D turned on Davie J and and joined forces with Hollywood Hogan and took over the CREW. Davie lost the EIWF World title to Hollywood Hogan on December 30th 1999 at Stay True.
Davie then took a break from the EIWF and was constantly mocked by Hogan and the rest of the 'New Blood' CREW. But Davie made his return at a Doomsday when he walked out unannounced and stunned the fans and Hollywood Hogan. Davie joined forces with Badd Dogg, Eddie D and Goldberg.
The Prez had other ideas and made Eddie D wrestle Goldberg and Davie J wrestle Badd Dogg who was the World champion.
Davie J captured his second EIWF World title when he defeated Badd Dogg at Doomsday before Evil Intensions. The sceen was set as the rematch the whole world was waiting for was set to take place at Evil Intensions as Davie J the World champion took on Hollywood Hogan. But once again Davie J stunned the Wrestling world as he layed down for Hogan and the CREW was back to gether. It had been one big screw job and everyone fell for it.
On that same night at Evil Intensions The Good Guys won the vacant tag team titles and confirmed there staus as oe of the best tag teams around. The Good Guys remained Tag team champions until April 23rd 2000 when former CREWmembers Big Poppa and X-Factor defeated them. Two days later Davie J captured the EIWF World title for a third and final time when he won a triple threat match.
The CREW split up in May 2000 and all went there seperate ways. Davie refornmed his partnership with Badd Dogg. Davie continued to headline PPV's
Davie held the World title until May 25th 2000 when he lost it to the Rock after running the NMWO gauntlet and got accidently hit by a chair by friend Badd Dogg. Davie continued to headline PPV's and remain high in the wrestler rankings. Davie was fired in August at the PPV Hotter Then Hell. He had been feuding with Super Fire Jr and Super Fire Jr had been leading a campaign to get Davie fired. They never got to have there match as the Prez fired Davie before they fought.
Davie left and joined the ICW where he won there version of the World title. Davie returned to the EIWF at Hell On Earth. Davie made a big impact and cost Metyl his United states title, Slash his TV title and Hollywood Hogan his World title. The ICON was back and at Stay True won his 4th EIWF world title after beating Super Fire Jr in what was another swerve by the CREW, Davie turned heel once again and joined up with Eddie D and Hollywood Hogan.
Davie left the ICW after winning 2 world titles and two tag team titles. Davie made history when he held the world title everday from December 31st 2000 until May 4th 2001. He lost the title to Kurt Angle but won it back on the same day to win his 5th world title. Davie won his third tag team title on March 23rd and lost them on August ??th, so Davie had a title belt around his waist from December 31st 2000 until August ??th 2001. This led to him being ranked as the number one wrestler in the EIWF for seven months in a row!
Davie feuded with Kurt Angle Super Fire Jr and Metyl. He won an end of an era match against Metyl which ended Metyl's career in the EIWF. But at Battlefield Metyl returned and won the world title and surprised the world when he joined the CREW. Davie defeated Kurt Angle at Fortress of Fear 2001, Super Fire Jr at Evil Intensions, Metyl at No guts No Glory and Guilty as Charged. He finally lost his world title to Super Fire Jr at Doomsday.
Davie was part of Team CREW at Hotter than Hell as they took on Team EIWF and Team WWO.
Wether Davie J is a face or a heel, if you love him or hate him, one thing is for sure, he has always made a big impact. Davie J.......welcome to the EIWF's Hall of Fame.
